Stroud Village Hall hosts a lively mix of regular clubs and classes throughout the week, creating a welcoming hub for all ages. Families enjoy friendly baby and toddler groups, while a range of fitness sessions, Pilates, and yoga classes offer something for anyone looking to move, stretch, or unwind. Our monthly Craft Club brings people together to make, chat, and share ideas, or join the Stroud Evening WI to make new friends and learn something different.

Award winning classes for babies from birth to 13 months. A friendly welcoming class connecting you with other parents who understand what life with a baby is really like. Share stories, celebrate milestones and build friendships that last beyond the first year.

We have a different project each time, mainly textile work with occasional printing or paper crafts. (We are always open to ideas).
It’s pay as you go with most of the materials provided. We are a very friendly bunch of enthusiastic amateurs who support and encourage each other whilst catching up on gossip and pinching ideas!Email: [email protected]

Chandni uses skills learnt from her fitness training, postgraduate research in Psychology and the rich holistic yoga approach that she learnt growing up in India to bridge the gap between traditional yoga and modern wellness science. Her mission is to help people feel better in themselves by building strength from the inside out, connecting to the breath, and bringing a sense of relaxation and renewed energy.
- Jordan is a dedicated local personal trainer serving the Petersfield community and is the founder of Hybrid Move. Jordan passionately believes that fitness should be inclusive, and Hybrid Move’s skilled trainers will help you to achieve your fitness goals whether it’s weight loss, muscle building or overall wellbeing. Hybrid Move bring the gym to your doorstep with weekly classes at various locations, including Stroud Village Hall. They also offer one to one personal training sessions.

Anne-Marie is a qualified Osteopath and draws on this experience for her Pilates classes. These are an hour long and move through a warm up, to mat based exercises, and finish by stretching out the muscles. Anne-Marie will teach you to activate your core, align yourself correctly, and breathe with each exercise. The aim at the end of each class is to feel relaxed and rejuvenated. You should also feel more supple and better able to maintain correct alignment of your body.

Whether you are new to Pilates, returning after a break, managing stiffness or an injury, or simply prefer a slower pace, this class offers safe and effective movement in a relaxed environment. We focus on deep strength, posture, balance, flexibility, breath, and functional movement.You can expect step by step clear guidance with many options so you can feel comfortable working at a level that feels right for your body. Expect calm, steady movement, with plenty of alignment cues, and time to rest when needed. Props such as a stretch band may be used to improve comfort and support good technique. A 30 minute strength and conditioning class for women.
Local resident Kasia is a qualified gym instructor, personal trainer and nutrition advisor. Kasia specialises both in pre and postnatal fitness, as well as supporting women aged 35 to 50 to improve their fitness, reboot their diet and boost their confidence. As a busy working mum of two herself, Kasia aims to help women rebuild energy, strength and confidence without guilt, pressure or unrealistic diets.
