Farming in Hampshire
Local resident LF has recently completed Farming in Hampshire a national pilot Test and Trials project for Defra which also involved our local Councillor Russell Oppenheimer and some of our local farms. This was one of 5 around the country involved with potential modes of local delivery of the new Environmental Land Management Schemes and a feedback workshop was held at Defra recently between all the project facilitator/directors. It appears ours was the first to complete but results of all of them should be ready to be assessed this autumn for consideration by the new government.
