PONDS
The pond at the Seven Stars public house and garden ponds all support frogs, toads and newts, dragonflies and other insects and provide drinking water for many mammals and birds.

STREAMS
The Criddell Stream forms the southern parish boundary from Stroudbridge Farm east to the A3 Petersfield bypass and can be seen from the crossings of roads and footpaths. There are also several smaller streams and winter flowing drains as well as private ponds at New Buildings Farm. Farmland
Grey wagtail can be seen on the Criddell Stream and little egrets occur from time to time on the smaller streams.
