The annual Stroud Christmas Fair returned on Sunday 30th November 2025.
Thank you to all the lovely local businesses, makers and artists who hosted a stall. It was the perfect opportunity to find a thoughtful and unique gift and support a local business at the same time!
Stroud resident and WI member, Carol, organised and ran a pop up Christmas café with some absolutely delicious homemade cakes. Thank you Carol!
Children added their wishes to our Christmas Wishing Tree this year. The twist was that they couldn’t wish for a gift for themselves – it had to be for a loved one, their community or the wider world.
The star attraction of course was our VIP guest – Father Christmas himself! Santa took some time out of his very busy schedule to visit the children of Stroud. It was a relief to hear that they were all on his Nice List. (Although some of the grown ups might not have been so they must try harder next year!)
This was a free to attend community event to bring local people and families together. We did however make a small profit of £200 for the Stroud Village Hall & Residents Association charity.
Thank you Father Christmas for paying us a visit!
The Bluestone Bills bring us all some Christmas cheer with a selection of festive tunes and costumes. Special mention to the Christmas angel who looked particularly fabulous!
Jessie Barton of The Wild Lupin and her beautiful arrangement of wreaths and table centres.
Local artist Caroline Welch showcases her gorgeous botanical prints and Christmas cards. The paper stars were a particular hit – thank you Caroline for teaching the children how to fold their own!
Stroud resident and Trustee, Kat (otherwise known as The Hedge Witch) with her intricate and sustainable wreaths, garlands and hand woven baskets.
